The Story- Following Our Passion

We've been in the dive industry for 15 years, traveling and living in some of the best dive locations in the world. After trading in our business suits for bathing suits, we called Cayman, St. John and Turks and Caicos home for several years. We spent our days enjoying some of the best diving the Caribbean has to offer and our evenings looking for the Green Flash. During this time, we completed thousands of dives, certified hundreds of students, and learned about the dive industry from the front lines. Our passion and enthusiasm for the sport deepened. We were in it to stay. We returned to Colorado to check out state-side dive centers. In 1996, we purchased the Underwater Phantaseas DTC store located on Belleview Avenue. We worked hard and the business grew and grew and grew. We even outgrew our space. So in July of 1999 we moved to our current location on Clinton Court. We really got in on the ground floor on this one. We dug the hole for the pool first and then they built the shopping center up around us. We have a pretty fantastic facility - built and designed specifically as a full service dive center. We have the largest dedicated dive training pool in Colorado, two fully digitized classrooms, and over 3,000 square feet of retail space chock full of the best product lines we've found in the industry. We offer a great range of classes with a variety of schedules, service and rent gear, and escort group dive trips to our favorite spots all over the world. That is pretty nice and all, but the thing that truly makes Underwater Phantaseas what it is today and what it's always been is our AMAZING DIVE CREW! We like to call it the "Norm Experience" (you know, from Cheers). By the time you leave here, everyone will know your name. We try to create a friendly, fun and comfortable environment where you can come learn how to dive, get geared up for a trip, or just simply ask questions about scuba. Everyone at Underwater Phantaseas loves the sport of diving and loves turning new folks on to it and it shows. "Scuba Diving is fun, your Dive Center should be too!"
