Make-Up
Sessions: Due to the intense format of the weekend OWSI
programs, there will be no formal
make-up sessions available. Make-up
sessions can be scheduled if available at $50.00 per hour. We strongly suggest that you plan on
attending every session as it will be critical to your success. How to
Prepare: There are numerous manuals that are available for you to read and study. We will focus primarily on the PADI Open Water manual, Advanced manual, instructor manual and IDC workbook. You should familiarize yourself with each of these as well as their respective videos. Also you will need to be proficient in all areas of the PADI Diving Knowledge Workbook that corresponds with the PADI Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving. Please complete the knowledge development sections in your IDC workbook before coming to class. Also, the more time you spend assisting with classes as a Divemaster the better off you will be. Remember, upon completion of the OWSI you will need to have at least 100 logged dives to enroll in your IE. We wish you the best of luck with your
OWSI/IE. As an Open Water Scuba
Instructor you will be able to teach a wide range of PADI programs from Discover
Scuba right up through Divemaster worldwide. The need for Scuba Instructors globally
has never been greater and we look forward to helping you complete your
goals. Soon you will be getting
paid for something you truly enjoy and having fun doing it!
