While diving throughout the Turneffe Atoll, you will have a chance to see a variety of hard and soft corals as well as many of the Caribbean tropicals, eagle rays, sharks, turtles, dolphins, moray eels, large schools of permit, horse eye jacks and dog snapper. The visibility is on average of 70-80 feet, making this atoll ideal for photography.
We’ll be staying oceanside at the Turneffe Flats Lodge on Turneffe Atoll, just east of mainland Belize. After a short scenic boat ride, we’ll arrive at our cabanas, located right on the beach with a panoramic view of the reef.
Each room is furnished with a queen size bed and a single bed, air conditioning standard and private baths with two sinks and a shower.
The social center of the Turneffe Flats is the Main Lodge, offering incredible views from the upper and lower decks, making it a favorite spot for visitors.
Our package includes six days of diving right from the resort with short boat rides.
Belize is a great place to try fish identification or practice your macro photography on the whitespotted or whitelined toadfish, one of many endemic creatures you’ll only find in Belize. You will also have the opportunity for optional dives to visit the famous Blue Hole and Lighthouse Reef.
We have a lot of interest in this unique experience. There is limited hotel space this year, so we only have 14 spots available. Please don’t delay in signing up. A $500 deposit and a signed trip agreement are required to hold your spot with us in Belize.
