Cozumel 201 Trip ReportI'll admit it - I just can't get enough of Cozumel! A direct flight from Denver, one of the healthiest marine ecosystems in the Caribbean, and relaxing diving make this one a reason to repeat over and over again.Cozumel Trailer from Brian Miller on Vimeo. We stayed at the Occidental Grand on the southern part of Cozumel, my favorite location for its quick and easy access to the best diving with Palancar Divers. Our Underwater Phantaseas group had a blast between the diving, trips to town to shop and eat, and a couple afternoons painting, or as one guest pointed out, we were having fun at "camp". Turtles, rays, abundant fish life, healthy corals, Cozumel truly does have it all. Each time I go, I wonder why it's been so long since my last trip. It is just so convenient, it's no wonder Colorado sends the 2nd most number of visitors, trailing only Texas! I know I'm already planning my return trip. Origional Trip Brochure: |

We will be staying at the beautiful Occidental Grand Cozumel, a luxurious all-inclusive resort on the Southern end of the island - - close to the best dive sites! This resort has six restaurants and four bars to choose from, so you are sure to not go hungry. You can also choose between the private beach or three swimming pools at the resort to relax after a day of diving.
The diving in Cozumel is nothing short of spectacular. We will be staying near the world famous reefs of Palancar, Santa Rosa, Punta Sur and Columbia featuring over 8 miles of walls, tunnels, caves, pinnacles and overhangs.
