36 hours. That's how long it took us to get from our front door to our diving destination, Komodo. Sounds obscene, but I'm already dreaming of my next trip back.

We have been fortunate enough to travel the globe, hitting most people's trip of a lifetime several times a year. And each location has its special appeal.

None have impressed me more for sheer biodiversity like Komodo. From Pygmy Seahorse to Manta Rays, there is something for everyone.

This was our 3rd trip to Komodo, and we hadn't been back in close to 5 years. Sometimes I wonder if our memory of the place was overblown, that the sites and encounters were bigger than life in my head.

But after just returning, I realize my dreams were actually reality. The diving really is that good.

Komodo is like a bucket list of must see critters. Blue Ribbon Eel, Mantas, Pygmy Seahorse, Mimic Octopus, sharks, nudibranchs, lady bugs, the list goes on and on.

I have not had any other trip compare to the amount and diversity of creatures. Big or small, this location has something for everyone.

If you do not have Komodo on your list, I can't recommend it highly enough. My next trip is already planned. Is yours?
We’ll be exploring two distinct areas of Indonesia: Komodo National Park and dives around Bali.
From muck diving for some of the most interesting critters in the sea, to diving with Mola Molas in Bali, this trip has it all!
Add a few nights in Bali to experience the beautiful island and its people, and we’ll be sure to spoil you from start to finish.
This is the newest and hottest concept in live aboard diving! The Damai is a brand new boat, measuring 108' long and 26' wide with only 4 cabins, each over 300 sq ft! Each cabin has their own rinse tank on deck for their equipment, as well as their own camera station with 110v and 220v outlets.
For relaxing, there is a lounge, sun deck and shade deck, all tempting you to sit down and enjoy a lazy afternoon. The kitchen is open around the clock to satisfy your hunger, whatever the hour, and the boat comes with a spa with a professional masseuse!
The Damai is the only liveaboard we know that offers unlimited diving! How? There are 4 divemasters for only 8 guests, with three dedicated dive tenders!
The Komodo National Park has been a huge success and is one of the best model programs the country has to offer in terms of preservation and conservation.
This is why we believe Komodo Park diving is still at the top of the diving scale in Indonesia.
The state of the hard corals in the north is outstanding, the fish numbers have increased and the critter life is abundant. To top it off, regular encounters with pelagic creatures like mantas and even sharks is on the rise.
This trip has only 8 spots available.
A $500 deposit is required to hold your spot with us to Indonesia.
