Having been fortunate enough to travel much of the globe searching out the best diving, I can honestly say they are 100% correct in this one. |

Papua New Guinea, just north of Australia on a map, is anything but easy to access. Five different plane rides, a 2 hour bus journey and a 30 minute boat crossing delivered us to our destination, Tawali Resort. |

If they say getting there is half the adventure, they were spot on when describing what it takes to get to PNG (getting home is another adventure all together!).

But once we got settled into the life at Tawali and the Spirit of New Guinea, we were spoiled from dive one! |
| The most incredibly lush and healthy reefs I have ever witnessed, unbelievable critter encounters from giant Manta Rays to tiny pygmy seahorse, to the absolutely bizarre like Rhinopious Scorpionfish and scull caves make this trip truly one for the ages. |  |

Having always been on my list to visit, PNG was a dream come true. A return visit is not only a wish, it will remain on my "must do"! |
